INSURANCE: Steps To Take, if your home has been damaged:

• Call your insurance broker or company to report the claim
• Photograph the damage (only if it is SAFE to do so)
• Make a detailed list of the damage, in as much detail as possible
• Check your policy for deductibles and/or exceptions
• If you have a separate flood insurance policy, you will need to file a separate claim
