WKJY OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
“Cash and a Cruise”

I. ELIGIBILITY. No purchase is necessary to enter, and all contests on WKJY-FM are open to all persons age 18 and over, unless otherwise specified in contest-specific rules. Employees and families of The Long Island Radio Group, its affiliates, other radio stations, record companies, and participating sponsors and their affiliates are not eligible.

II. GENERAL PRIZE INFORMATION. One winner per household per thirty (30) days. Winners of prizes valued at more than six hundred dollars ($600) must wait a total of six (6) months before becoming eligible to win additional prizes from WKJY-FM. Qualifiers must reside or be employed within the geographic listening area of WKJY-FM. Prize winners must present valid identification and proof of age to claim prize. Winner is subject to state, local, and federal taxes where applicable. If for any reason the winner is unable to utilize the prize on the dates given, subsequent draws will be made until a qualified winner is drawn. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitute prizes will be awarded under any circumstances. Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Prizes may be claimed at least twenty-four (24) hours after winning, and within thirty (30) days, at 234 Airport Plaza Boulevard, Suite 5, Farmingdale, NY 11735. Pick-up hours are Business Days, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. In the event of any disagreement regarding contestants, winners or qualification of winners, or adequacy or value of the prize, the decision of The Long Island Radio Group Company shall remain final. All prizes will be awarded. Prize winners must sign hold harmless and indemnity agreement, agreeing to hold WKJY-FM, its licensee, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest. Void where prohibited.

III. RELEASE. By entering a contest on WKJY-FM, each participant in the contest, including all winners, acknowledge that WKJY-FM and The Long Island Radio Group Company will have the right to reproduce, publicize, and broadcast his or her name, likeness, and all matters incidental thereto without compensation.

IV. CONTEST-SPECIFIC RULES. All rules specific to individual contests are created by WKJY-FM Management, and its legal council if necessary. Decision of The Long Island Radio Group management with regard to rules, specifications, qualifiers, winners, and prizes, is final.

a. Definition of Qualifier: Any person who meets eligibility requirements described herein, who wins a qualifying prize through radio contesting, or who is selected in any random drawing described below.
i. Tune to KJOY 98.3 FM, every day in May (2008), between 9am and 5pm and listen for the “Double Play” artist.
1. Contestants can also visit www.KJOY.com to learn who the “Double Play” artist is, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
ii. Contests must then listen to KJOY between 9am and 5pm, every day in May (2008) for the “Double Play”.
1. “Double Play” is defined as 2 songs back to back by the determined artist
iii. Contestants must call 516-955-WKJY when he or she hears the “double play”. Contestants may start calling when the 2nd song begins.
iv. Contestant/caller #20 will be deemed the daily winner to receive:
1. $200 cash (or check) from Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union
2. 4 invitations aboard the KJOY Listener Appreciation Cruise aboard Nautical Cruise Lines
a. Listener Cruise is August 24th at 11a, boarding in Freeport, directions and tickets will be provided
v. Each daily winner will also be eligible for a chance to win the Grand Prize
1. Grand Prize includes:
a. $1000 cash (or check) from Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union
b. Caribbean Cruise for 4 aboard MSC Cruise Lines (ship: Lirica), accommodations include one (1) cabin for four (4) people, including two (2) adults and two (2) children (17 years or younger).
c. Air transportation for 4 from Long Island/New York to the port of call: Fort Lauderdale.
d. Ship sails on December 13, 2008. If the winner cannot travel on this cruise, no replacement prize will be awarded and an alternate winner may be chosen.
e. Ship sails to: Fort Lauderdale, Florida | Key West, Florida | Cozumel, Mexico | Georgetown, Grand Cayman | Cayo Levantado, Dominican Republic | Fort Lauderdale, Florida
f. Total Grand Prize is valued at $1000 + $2800 = $3800. Winner will be required to sign a winner affidavit and will receive a 1099 from KJOY at the end of the tax year.
