While we all still think there may be some underlying set up involving the feud between two new Idol Judges, a singing legend doesn’t and her threats are real! Mariah Carey and Nikki Minaj have only been working together a matter of weeks and we’ve already seen video of a verbal smackdown between the two. After that surfaced, Mariah made comments about wanting extra security on set as she made the talk show rounds… and according to Fleetwood Mac minx Stevie Nicks- Mariah is a saint for remaining so PC. If it were Stevie on that panel, she admits she would have marched over to Minaj and strangled her to death right then and there. The tone was a little peculiar as she added she would have killed Nikki in front of all those people and gone to jail for it.

Now- whether you like Nikki Minaj or not, she does have lots of fans and that’s probably why she was picked as an Idol Judge and why she’s tied with the most nominations for the American Music Awards. Rihanna shares the spotlight with her nabbing 4 nominations based on music sales, prevalence on radio, TV, internet streams, video and social media activity. The awards show is about a month away and only one artist has been confirmed to perform: Christina Aguilera. We can also expect a big tribute to the show’s founder, Dick Clark, as this will be the first ceremony without him.

We’ve only seen head-shots of singer Jessica Simpson’s Weight Watchers weight loss in her commercials, but another new mom is having NOOOOO trouble flaunting her post-baby body and it’s someone the weight watchers spokeswoman is sorta-kinda linked to! Nick Lachey’s wife, Vanessa Manillo, popped out a bouncing baby boy less than a month ago seems to be just about back to being in a bikini. The new parents were spotted supporting Nick’s brother, Drew Lachey, as he danced on the All Star Season of DWTS Monday, which, ironically was his last night on the show. He was eliminated.
