She’s had three strikes but Babs is NOT out! The View Host has had a rough run the past 10-days and now Barbara Walters has come down with chicken pox. Her downward spiral began when she fell during inauguration weekend, cutting her temple. She went to the hospital where she came down with a fever. Just when things were starting to look up, she came down with the itchy red spots. Barbara never had it when she was a kid, and it’s not necessarily the BEST thing to happen to 83-year old news veteran, so we’re hoping she gets better soon.

If you feel like there’s a void on The View with her gone, maybe Kris Jenner can fill in! Nope, she can’t because she’s too busy working on the set of her OWN talk show. The momager of the famous Kardashian Klan will take over daytime talk in two areas as a test: L.A… and New York. We get to suffer through a season before finding out if it will go National.

And going to the big stage: Tina Fey! Well, not the insanely talented comedy writer herself, but one of the movies she wrote. A “Mean Girls” musical would bring “the plastics (the ‘mean’ in mean girls)” and their immature quotable lines to life and Tina says she’s trying to develop it with her husband, who does all the music for her hit show, “30 Rock.”
