You might remember Peri from her days as co-host of the WBAB Morning Show with Bob Buchmann. Peri joined KJOY and the Long Island Radio Group in 2004 as our primary Morning Show fill-in co-host.
 
In addition to her radio work, Peri is a professional Long Island businesswoman with an expertise in marketing, event planning, event management and non-profit endeavors.
 
Long Island has always been home for Peri. After moving from Bayside as a preschooler, she grew up in Massapequa, attended Cornell University and eventually found her way to South Huntington where she currently lives with her family. Her personal loves are her husband, Peter, and her 2 children, Justin and Jordan. When she’s not on the air, she loves Broadway shows and cruising the open seas! Peri bleeds Jets green and Mets blue and dreams to one day run the Amazing Race!

Peri sits on the Board of Trustees of South Huntington Jewish Center in Melville. She's the former Executive Director of the Suffolk Council of Jewish Organizations, and is currently a liaison for the Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island. Throughout her professional career, Peri's first passion has been, and always will be, radio.


Favorite Artists: Long Island’s own Billy Joel, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Barry Manilow (yes, I’ll admit it!), and the Original Broadway Cast of…everything!

Favorite TV Show: Pretty much anything on Food Network or HGTV. Top Chef, too.

Favorite Movie: Can’t pick just one. Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, Pajama Game, Singin’ In The Rain. Okay…didn’t actually mean to pick six!

Favorite Food: Does garlic count?

Favorite Long Island Restaurant: Going out? Who cares where!

Best Thing About Long Island: The people who live here.

If I didn't live on Long Island, I'd live: Anywhere the temperature hovers around 70 degrees every day.

If I didn't work in radio, I'd be: Not nearly as happy as I am today!

Hobbies: Reading, theater (watching, not doing!), and traveling.
