Many parts of the Long Island saw 4 to 8 inches of snow Tuesday with the first major snowstorm in 2 years. Some areas, like Cold Spring Harbor had over 10 inches snow.
State and county police responded to over 200 crashes during the storm.
Nassau police say they responded to 82 crashes, Suffolk County police say they responded to 133 crashes.
In Nassau County even a snowplow ended up on its side after a crash.
