Good luck to the thousands of runners participating in the 2025 Jovia Financial Credit Union Long Island Marathon Weekend in Eisenhower Park! The first race of the weekend is the Friday Night Lights 5K at 8pm. Saturday’s 10K race starts at 8am, and there is a 1K Kids Run at 11am.
Sunday is Marathon Day, with both the Marathon and Half Marathon beginning at 7:30am.
Road closures on Sunday:
Charles Lindbergh Blvd fully CLOSED 6am-1pm
Stewart Avenue between Merchant’s Concourse and Merrick Ave CLOSED 6:45am-10:30am
Merrick Avenue between Hempstead Turnpike and Stewart Ave CLOSED 5am-1pm
Park Boulevard between Hempstead Turnpike and Merrice Ave CLOSED 5am-10:30am (public parking access will be permitted until 6:30am)
Meadowbrook State Parkway exits/entrances to/from Charles Lindbergh Blvd, Nassau Coliseum, NCC, and Eisenhower Park, as well as the exit onto eastbound Stewart Ave closed 6am-1:30pm
