Donald Trump’s Rally at the Nassau Coliseum is Wednesday night.
The event is being run by the Trump campaign. It says gates in the parking lot will open at 8 a.m. but doors will open at the Coliseum at 3 p.m. before a 7 p.m. start time.
Nassau police say at any point from 3 p.m. until the end of the rally, the area surrounding the Coliseum could be locked down so it’s best to avoid the area.
Nassau police advised drivers and residents of heavier than usual traffic near Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. They encouraged drivers to seek alternate routes.
