The House passed President Trump’s domestic policy bill by just one vote in the early morning hours Thursday after an all-night session.
House Speaker Mike Johnson said the vote was that close in part because Long Island Rep. Andrew Garbarino, a Republican who would’ve voted to support it, was asleep at the time.
The bill narrowly passed 215-214 and now goes to the Senate. Johnson said the goal is to get the bill to the president’s desk by July 4.
