Governor Kathy Hochul announced that work has begun on the next phase of the State Route 347 Reconstruction Project in Suffolk County, several months ahead of schedule.
The $44.7 million project will upgrade and rebuild a one-mile section of Route 347 from Hallock Road to Nicolls Road (County Route 97) in the Town of Brookhaven.
The Governor says the investment will make the corridor safer, more efficient, and more accessible for everyone traveling through Suffolk County.
