Security is being setup next month’s Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black. State police say the event could draw more than 50,000 fans a day. Security will include K-9 explosive detection teams, plainclothes officers, and surveillance drones. Authorities warn of heavy traffic and road closures. The tournament runs September 26th through the 28th.
The event will also see heightened security for high-profile guests, including the expected arrival of former President Donald Trump on one of the competition days.
