LI’s Sheryl Lee Ralph Wins Emmy

Uniondale High School alum Sheryl Lee Ralph became only the second black woman to win in her category at Monday night’s 74th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Ralph won Best Supporting Actress for the show “Abbott Elementary.” The 65 year old gave what many people believe the greatest speech of the evening.

“Succession” and “Ted Lasso” won Best Drama and Comedy Series. “White Lotus” won for Best Limited Series. You can get the entire list of winners HERE!
