The shows that received the most Emmy nominations are “Severance,” (27) “The Penguin,” (24) “The Studio,” (23) “White Lotus,” (23) and “The Last of Us” (16). Surprising snubs include “Squid Games” and “Yellowjackets” with ZERO nominations, as well as “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which only received one nomination (Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series – Cherry Jones). Also, while “Only Murders in the Building” received a number of nominations, including a Best Actor nomination for Martin Short, formerly nominated co-stars Steve Martin and Selena Gomez were shut out. The Emmys will air Sunday, September 14th on CBS with comedian Nate Bargatze set to host.
