September is Hunger Action Month! Long Island’s Place to Relax, KJOY 98.3 (WKJY-FM), has teamed up with Broadway Commons and Island Harvest to host Long Island’s official Hunger Action Month kick-off event. Saturday, September 3rd from 1pm to 3pm, KJOY will host a food drive and collection event for Island Harvest, featuring fun activities like: music, giveaways, raffles, contests, face painter, 360 photo booth and so much more. Island Harvest volunteers will join the KJOY crew in Center Court of Broadway Commons to collect food, monetary donations, and gift cards. Back to school is a critical time to make sure our food pantries are full. Please join us and don’t forget your donation!
