Man accused of assaulting several police officers in Old Bethpage
Authorities say an Old Bethpage man is accused of assaulting several police officers while resisting arrest over the weekend.Police responded because the suspect was verbally threatening a 66-year-old woman at home in Old Bethpage.He violently resisted arrest and hurt two officers, they were sent to the hospital for treatment and are expected to be OK.
