Johnson & Johnson is recalling several Neutrogena and Aveeno brand aerosol sunscreens because low levels of benzene were found in them. Benzene has the potential to cause cancer with repeated exposure. Stop using the following products immediately:

Aveeno Protect + Refresh aerosol sunscreen
Neutrogena Beach Defense aerosol sunscreen
Neutrogena CoolDry Sport aerosol sunscreen
Neutrogena Invisible Daily Defense aerosol sunscreen
Neutrogena UltraSheer aerosol sunscreen.

The recall includes all sizes and all levels of SPF. You can get a refund on these products by calling J&J’s Consumer Care Center at 1-800-458-1673.
