Long Beach, NY- On Thursday, The United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program dedicated this years Long Island toy drive, to Lazar LaPenna. LaPenna, a 10 year old from Long Beach, died suddenly last month, after suffering an epileptic seizure during a Little League game in Point Lookout. The Marine Corps also named named Lazar as an honorary Co-Chairman of the Toy Drive, which is anticipated to donate over 750,000 toys this year.
