Farmingdale, NY- A Long Island Walmart Employee was assaulted on the job Monday night in Farmingdale. Suffolk County Police say a male employee was injured at the Route 110, Farmingdale store at approximately 6:30pm and say a suspect was charged with Assault. Newsday says the suspect stabbed the employee, Suffolk County Police could not confirm the incident involved a stabbing. Officials say the victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
