West Babylon, NY- A West Babylon man was taken into police custody on Friday afternoon, after police say he murdered his father. According to a press release from The Suffolk County Police Department, a woman called 911 at approximately 12:55pm to say that her son had strangled her husband. When police arrived to the scene at 36 Phillips Walk, they found Robert Taylor, 64, dead. Homicide detectives arrested Robert’s son, James Taylor, 34, of West Babylon, on charges of Murder 2nd degree.
