Police offering reward to find hit-and-run driver

Police are offering a reward of u p to $5,000 to find the hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a 13-year-old in Coram last week

Tyler Phillips and his sister were hit over as they walked along Granny Road.

Tyler pushed his sister out of the way and endured the brunt of the crash, he taken to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition and had been on life support for several days before he died.

Suffolk detectives believe the vehicle that hit the siblings was a light grey 2005-2009 Chevrolet Equinox with it’s  front passenger headlight is missing, and there is damage to the front passenger bumper.
