Brookhaven National Laboratory was reportedly the victim of an attempted cyberattack from Russian hackers over the summer.
The group known as Cold River created phony login pages hoping nuclear scientists would enter their usernames and passwords.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Energy, said they found no evidence of information being compromised.
