The MTA announced on Monday that Long Island Rail Road service to Grand Central Madison will begin Wednesday.
The first train is scheduled to originate at Jamaica at 10:45 a.m., and run express to the new station where it is scheduled to arrive at 11:07 a.m.
The LIRR will be offering shuttle service from Jamaica to Grand Central Madison for at least three weeks.
Full service from Long Island to Grand Central will be scheduled, following the initial phase.
