Kelly Clarkson made a dig at her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, while covering Gayle’s “Forget You” during her Kellyoke segment on her talk show. Gayle’s original lyrics are, “Forget you and your mom, and your sister, and your job, and your broke-down car and the things that you call art.” Kelly took the opportunity to tweak the lyrics when she sang it:

“Forget you and your dad, and the fact that you got half, and my broken heart, turn that **** into art.”

The lyric change was a not-so-subtle reference to her divorce from Brandon, his manager/producer father Narvel (who was married to Reba McEntire for 26 years), and the fact that she plans on releasing a new album this year.
