Michelle DeSanti The owner of Remember Me Rescue New York a Huntington-based animal rescue says she’s been hacked and someone is using her Facebook page to scam people.

Two days ago, DeSanti received a message from Facebook that she had been hacked. She then she saw a post about a dog that needed a home on her page that she did not make.

After the post appeared, she received texts and phone calls from people asking if the dog was still available, with some people saying they had left a deposit for the dog.

DeSanti say she is trying to get Facebook to remove the page.
