Starbucks workers at 3 Long Island locations went on strike over LGBTQ+ décor yesterday
The workers were scheduled to work in the Farmingdale, Wantagh and Lynbook stores, But did not show up for their shifts. Instead, they marched in the Pride Parade in New York City.
The workers are upset over what their union says is a clash over in-store decor that supports LGBTQ+ causes.

Strikes at more than 150 organized U.S. Starbucks stores started Friday in Seattle, after the union representing baristas claimed some cafes were not allowed to put up Pride decorations
