Record number of travelers expected for July 4 holiday weekend

A record number of travelers are expected on the roads and in the skies for the July 4 holiday weekend according to the AAA.

More than 50 million vacationers nationwide are expected to travel at least 50 miles from home, that’s 3.7 percent higher than last year.

4.17 million Americans will fly to their destinations. The busiest days to fly will be Friday and Tuesday, July 4.
