LIRR back on schedule today following train derailment Thursday

The LIRR is back on a regular schedule today following the train derailment near the UBS arena that caused delays and cancelations yesterday.
MTA officials say commuters can expect the LIRR to be on a full schedule Friday, but add that due to ongoing repair work some trains may have delays.
Officials say a work train was carrying concrete ties to a site west of Jamaica for scheduled track work derailed. There were no injuries.
The cause of the derailment is still unknown.
