Snubbed!

Not surprising, but “Oppenheimer” leads with most Academy Award nominations this year – 13, including Best Picture.

Despite “Barbie” being nominated for Best Picture, star Margot Robbie found herself not among the women nominated for the Oscar for Best Actress. Director Greta Gerwig was also not nominated. Ryan Gosling was nominated for Best Supporting Actor and America Ferrera was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

Leonardo DiCaprio, despite being nominated for other awards this season for “Killers of the Flower Moon,” was also snubbed from the Best Actor list of nominees.

Disney’s “Wish” did not make the cut for Best Animated Feature.

“The Color Purple” only received one nomination, Danielle Brooks in the Best Supporting Actress category. No nod to Julianne Moore for “May December,” and both “Saltburn” and “Ferrari” received zero nominations.
