34-year-old Jonathan Wibben, of Coram, has been charged in connection to a deadly Port Jefferson Station hit-and-run that happened in June of last year.
Wibbens is a teacher in the Bethpage School District. The district Superintendent says he has been removed from the classroom pending the outcome of the investigation.
Wibben pleaded not guilty at his arraignment, He is due back in court at the end of February.
