Nassau Legislature Rules Committee has passes bill that would ban trans women from female sports at county facilities.
The bill is similar to an executive order signed by County Executive Bruce Blakeman, which was struck down in May by a New York Supreme Court judge.
Nassau County Democrats said they believe the law is illegal and shouldn’t even be voted on. The bill moves to a full Legislature vote on June 24.
