3 arrested for shooting fireworks out of car on Meadowbrook

Three people were arrested early Monday morning for shooting fireworks out of a car sunroof while driving on the Meadowbrook State Parkway.
The arrest was made when an officer driving northbound on the parkway saw a car shooting fireworks out of its sunroof in Westbury.
All three suspects were charged with reckless endangerment and unlawfully possessing fireworks. The driver was also issued numerous traffic summons.
