4 people rescued in Hempstead Bay

Four people were rescued on Long Island Sound in Hempstead Bay Sunday afternoon after their boat overturned.
Emergency responders from two counties teamed up to rescue the people in the water.
the Nassau County Police Department Marine Bureau Unit responded for reports of an overturned sailboat around 1pm yesterday, with the assistance of the Westchester Police Department, all four occupants were picked up and the sail boat was towed to shore.
There were no injuries reported.
