Long Islanders are Feeling the Affects of the Government Shutdown and Local Businesses are Here to Help!

A bunch of Long Island businesses are doing what they can to help during the shutdown with free stuff for furloughed workers. Make sure you check out their social media pages because that’s where you can find a lot of the deals. Places like Del Fiore Italian Market in Rocky Point is offering a box of fresh cheese ravioli, a quart of meat or marinara sauce, and a loaf of bread to employees going without pay.
